With the aim of familiarizing first-year students of the Faculty of National Culture, who are enrolled in the general professional training programs "Pedagogical Sciences," with the theoretical and methodological foundations of the discipline and its sources of development, within the framework of the university course "Pedagogy," on September 2, 2025, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, University Lecturer MARIA IANIOGLO conducted a session in the reading hall of the Scientific Library of Comrat State University.

At the beginning of the session, Chief Librarian ANNA CHESEA introduced the freshmen to the working schedule, service rules, and information resources of the Scientific Library, which support the scientific and educational process at the university: the book collection, periodicals, and special collections. The library’s search system was presented in detail, including the Electronic Catalog, Alphabetical Card Catalog, and Systematic Catalog.

Additionally, information was provided about the Scientific Library’s page on the CSU website, as well as the structure and content of the CSU Electronic Library and its search system.

The session was attended by students of the "Pedagogical Sciences" professional training field, enrolled in the following educational programs: "Singing," "Primary and Preschool Education," "English and German Language and Literature," "Mathematics and Informatics," "Russian Language and Literature.
