From November 17th to 19th, 2023, the Agro-Technological Faculty of Comrat State University held the 4th International Congress on Engineering and Life Science. This event brought together researchers from various countries to discuss the implications of global challenges facing agriculture and the environment.

The congress focused on threats related to food security, disruptions in the agricultural supply chain, and price instability due to changes in supply and demand. Representatives from over 17 universities from the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey participated in the event.

Oral presentations were delivered across six sections, while online presentations were held across seven sections. Additionally, an opportunity for online poster presentations was provided. Scientists presented their research aimed at finding solutions to mitigate the consequences of globalization on the environment, identifying the scale of damage, and exploring possibilities for rehabilitation.

The congress drew attention to the significance of agriculture and its role in preserving ecological balance in the modern world. The event served as a significant platform for knowledge exchange in English, Russian, and Turkish, catering to both virtual and physical participation.
