
From April 13 to 17, 2026, the academic staff of Comrat State University participated in the international staff training week “Study in Eskişehir ISTW 2026”, organized by the international offices of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Anadolu University and Eskişehir Technical University and in the 4th International Staff Training Week within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme.
The following academic staff members took part in the mobility:
• Dr. habil., Associate Professor of the Department of Private Law, Faculty of Law, Natalia Shchukina;
• PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of National Culture, Olga Shchukina.
Within the programme, the participants were actively engaged in educational and professional activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation and exchanging academic experience.
At Anadolu University, the participants attended the opening of the Erasmus+ International Week, became acquainted with the university’s internationalization strategy, and held meetings with representatives of the international office and the university’s administration. Particular attention was given to thematic seminars and discussions addressing 21st-century challenges, including the role of artificial intelligence in higher education. A meeting with the Rector of the university was held, during which interest in developing cooperation with Comrat State University was expressed. Initial academic contacts for future joint projects were also established.
At Eskişehir Osmangazi University, participation took place within the framework of an existing inter-institutional agreement. The academic staff attended an official meeting with the university leadership, learned about its international activities and EU-funded programmes. During group work with participants from more than 15 countries, opportunities for developing joint educational and research initiatives were discussed. The programme also included a campus tour and a visit to the Zoological Museum. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening institutional ties and identifying перспективные направления сотрудничества.
At Eskişehir Technical University, meetings were held with representatives of the administration and academic community. The structure of the university and its key areas of activity—primarily in technical fields—were presented. Participants were introduced to research projects, including developments in seismic safety, aviation, and pilot technologies. An exchange of experience in research and innovation took place, and перспективные области interdisciplinary cooperation and future joint research were identified.
The participation of Comrat State University staff in the international week “Study in Eskişehir ISTW 2026” became an important step in advancing the university’s internationalization, expanding academic partnerships, and improving the quality of education through the implementation of advanced international practices.
