As part of the III International Staff Mobility Week organized at Comrat State University with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, international guests and participants attended the celebration of the national holiday Hıdırellez held in the municipality of Ceadîr-Lunga.

The festive event brought together representatives of different countries and cultures, becoming a vivid example of intercultural dialogue, friendship, and preservation of national traditions. Participants of the international week had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Gagauz people, their customs, music, dances, and traditional cuisine.

During the celebration, guests visited thematic areas, folk crafts exhibitions, tasting zones featuring traditional dishes, as well as a concert programme performed by creative groups from Gagauzia. The participants showed particular interest in the national dances, folklore performances, and the atmosphere of a genuine folk celebration.

The celebration of Hıdırellez became an important part of the cultural programme of the III International Staff Mobility Week and allowed international partners to become more closely acquainted with the history, traditions, and unique culture of the region.

Participants highlighted the high level of organization of the event, the hospitality of the people of Gagauzia, and the importance of such initiatives for strengthening international cooperation and cultural exchange.
