A special part of the mobility programme was the doctoral student’s participation in the III International Staff Mobility Week held at CSU from May 4 to 8, 2026, within the Erasmus+ programme. Throughout the international week, he took part in all major events, lectures, conferences, academic meetings, and cultural programmes, becoming a member of the large international team of participants and guests of the university.
During his stay in Gagauzia, İbrahim Eskiocak had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the history, culture, and traditions of the Gagauz people, as well as the peculiarities of the Gagauz language and the national heritage of the region. An important event for the guest was his participation in the national holiday Hederlez, which allowed him to experience more deeply the atmosphere of Gagauz culture, folk traditions, and hospitality.
The internship programme contributed to strengthening academic ties between partner universities, developing international cooperation, and exchanging scientific and cultural experience.
