Law student Kodjebaş Helen participated in the ERASMUS+ mobility program from 01.10.2023 to 06.02.2024 at Anadolu University, located in Eskisehir, Turkey.

During this time, she gained meaningful experience in the field of law, expanding her knowledge and skills through academic classes as well as through interaction with colleagues and experts in the field of law.

By specializing in law, Elena was exposed to the peculiarities of the Turkish legal system, legislation and judicial procedures, which enriched her understanding of different legal practices and approaches. She successfully entered the foreign language learning process, which significantly improved her language skills and fostered a deep intercultural understanding. Elena also had the opportunity to delve into specific areas of jurisprudence, such as international law, including the use of force in international relations, and European Union law, including labor law. In addition, Elena improved her skills in legal English, which was an important component of her professional training in the international field of law.

During the ERASMUS+ mobility program, Elena also immersed herself in an exquisite cultural atmosphere, discovering many historical and cultural treasures. In the city of Eskisehir, she enthusiastically visited museums and historical sites, experiencing the grandeur of the past and imbued with its meanings. Participating in a field trip to Cappadocia was a unique experience for her, filling her soul with delight at the amazing scenery and richness of the cultural heritage of the region.

Her dedicated study of the local Turkish language was the key to her deep understanding and cultural exchange. This unique cross-cultural experience has been not only a source of inspiration for her, but also an important milestone in her professional and personal development.

International networking was also a significant part of Elena's experience in the ERASMUS+ program. She managed to share her ideas with students from different countries such as: Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Spain, Latvia, Czech Republic, etc., which contributed to the creation of long-term international professional and friendship ties.

At the International Week event, Elena presented with exceptional admiration the Republic of Moldova and the Gagauzia region, emphasizing their deep cultural heritage and unique features.

In her speech about Gagauzia, she emphasized the ethnic and cultural diversity, the importance of historical heritage and the value of traditions of this region. Her presentation was imbued with a deep respect for the cultural heritage of Moldova, which allowed the participants to better understand and appreciate the diversity of cultural riches of the country and the Gagauz region in particular.

Elena's participation in the ERASMUS+ mobility program at Anadolu University brought her valuable experience and unforgettable impressions. She sincerely thanks the Anadolu University administration and the international office for the warm welcome and support she received during her stay, as well as expresses her deep gratitude for the hospitality that helped her feel comfortable and productive in the Turkish educational and cultural environment.
