On July 28, 2025, Comrat State University hosted a meeting between Erasmus+ programme participant, lecturer Ipek Gümüşcan, and the Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, and the Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Genova.

Ipek Gümüşcan represents Süleyman Demirel University (Türkiye) and is visiting CSU from July 28 to 31, 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme. During her visit, she will explore the university's activities, participate in working meetings and training events aimed at experience exchange and professional development. Additionally, Ipek Gümüşcan is a PhD student at Pamukkale University and will undertake a three-month research internship at Comrat State University through the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies programme (PhD Mobility). As part of her internship, she plans to conduct research for her doctoral thesis on international trade and finance in collaboration with CSU faculty and experts.

During the meeting with the university administration, the participant was introduced to the team, discussed the objectives and scope of her internship, and addressed key questions. Comrat State University is pleased to welcome new partners and continues to strengthen international cooperation in education and science.
