From July 21 to 25, 2025, staff members from the International Relations and Project Activities Department of Comrat State University — Academic Mobility Specialist Liudmila Nenova and Foreign Student Affairs Officer Irina Sulac — took part in an international training mobility at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (Turkey) under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme.
The internship was hosted by the International Relations Office of the Turkish university and focused on experience exchange, development of professional skills, and strengthening international cooperation. Throughout the week, CSU representatives actively participated in all aspects of the department’s work: they learned about the internal structure and areas of activity, attended meetings with staff and visitors, assisted in the admission process for international students, and shared their own experience in working with international partners.
Special attention was given to exploring the digital tools used at Alanya University for recruiting and supporting international students, including online platforms and administrative solutions. The two sides discussed the possibility of expanding the existing Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement and agreed on concrete steps for further cooperation.
Outside the official programme, the participants had the opportunity to explore Alanya’s rich cultural heritage. As part of the cultural agenda, they visited the famous Alanya Castle, the city museum, Atatürk’s House Museum, and attended a theatrical performance addressing relevant social issues. The mobility also provided an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts with representatives of other universities, opening up new prospects for expanding CSU’s international partnerships.
