On October 15, 2025, the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, paid an official visit to Bursa Uludağ University, Republic of Türkiye.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Rector of Uludağ University, Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between the universities and prospects for its further development. Also present at the meeting was the Coordinator for International Academic Relations of Bursa Uludağ University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mücahit Özdemir. Special attention was given to the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in January 2025 between the two universities, as well as to the successful experience of cooperation within the Erasmus+ KA171 program. The parties expressed satisfaction with the results achieved and discussed possibilities for expanding the partnership, particularly in the field of Turkish language teaching with the support of the ULUTÖMER Language Center, as well as joint preparation of research projects and organization of academic exchanges for students and faculty. During the visit, Rector Serghei Zaharia emphasized the importance of strengthening international ties, exchanging experience, and implementing innovative approaches in the educational process. The parties agreed to continue regular consultations, joint seminars, and webinars aimed at developing the academic potential of both universities.
