On March 5, 2026, a working meeting of ENRICHER Hubs project partners was held to plan activities for 2026 and share experiences of green tourism hubs launched at participating universities in Moldova and Georgia.
The meeting included brief presentations on the development of university hubs and planned activities for the coming year. Particular attention was paid to initiatives in the areas of green tourism, sustainable development, and student engagement in practical activities.
The partner universities shared the results of their previous activities and discussed new ideas and formats for collaboration within the ENRICHER Hubs network. The exchange of experiences during the working meeting provided another opportunity to strengthen partnerships and develop joint approaches to the further development of the hubs. Alla Levitskaia, Doctor Habilitate, Professor of the Department of Economics, presented a presentation on the Сomrat State university's green tourism hub and its development plans for 2026. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation, the implementation of innovative educational approaches, and the active participation of students in projects aimed at sustainable development in the region. During her presentation, she noted that the university has already implemented a number of practice-oriented activities, including workshops and off-site activities. Students and faculty from Comrat State University visited the Tourist Information Center (Chisinau), where they learned about destination promotion practices and had the opportunity to engage with the professional community and discuss current industry development trends at a seminar with representatives of the National Platform for Tourism of Moldova.
