Students of “Tourism and Hospitality” and “Business and Management” specializations at Comrat State University carried out a study and practice visit to the municipality of Comrat and the village of Ferapontievca. The participants visited the small business, which provides leisure services for both children and adults. The students learned about the specifics of running a local business, the principles of service organization, and marketing solutions that allow enterprises to operate effectively in the regional market.
The next stage of the program was a visit to the Ferapontievca village museum, where students explored the experience of preserving and promoting cultural heritage. The museum representatives demonstrated how traditions and history can be integrated into the modern tourism industry and serve as a foundation for the development of rural tourism.
The visits were part of the Erasmus+ ENRICHER Tourism Hub business project competition, aimed at supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and developing sustainable tourism in the region. Students are also involved in developing projects such as the tourist pension in the village of Cișmichioi and the creation of a tourist route in the village of Beșghioz, which will be presented in the next stages of the program.
Such visits provide students with direct exposure to practical examples of business management in tourism, as well as a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by local entrepreneurs. The project contributes to strengthening ties between the university, businesses, and regional communities, creating a sustainable platform for future cooperation.
