

A working visit by a delegation from Comrat State University to Georgia took place from September 29 to October 3 as part of the ENRICHER Hubs project. The main goal of the visit was to participate in meetings with project partners to evaluate completed activities, exchange experiences, and strengthen international cooperation in sustainable tourism, entrepreneurship, and educational technologies. The visit included participation in conferences, working meetings, and an introduction to sustainable tourism practices in various regions of Georgia.
On September 30, 2025, the international conference "Shaping the Future of Sustainable Tourism," organized as part of the ENRICHER project, was held in Tbilisi at the Caucasus University. The conference was attended by project team members from Comrat State University: Dr. Habil., Professor Alla Levitskaia, Dr., Associate Professor Liudmila Fedotova, Dr. Habil., Associate Professor Natalia Șciuchina, representatives of partner universities, and tourism industry experts and specialists. The conference focused on sustainable tourism development, innovative approaches in education, and the exchange of best practices in sustainable tourism. Professor Alla Levitskaia participated in the panel discussion "Challenges and Prospects of Sustainable Tourism," sharing her experience with Comrat State University in preparing for the opening of a sustainable tourism center (hub) and the university's collaboration with representatives of the Gagauz tourism industry. As part of the session "Design Sprint: Concept and Case from Moldova," Professor Alla Levitskaia, together with Janosch Untersteiner (MSI The Entrepreneurial School, Austria), presented their experience implementing the design sprint method. During their visit to Caucasus University (Tbilisi), Caucasus University representatives also participated in a dissemination meeting of the ENRICHER Hubs project, where they discussed the program's achievements and plans for further implementation. They also attended the opening of the Green Tourism Hub at Caucasus University. The Caucasus University team presented their work, and discussions were held on the preparation of the online seminar "Business Challenge," which will be held on November 5 with the participation of students from Comrat State University. Furthermore, the Comrat State University delegation took part in the "International Week" conference, organized by Caucasus University. During the events, contacts were established with representatives of the academic community and participants in international educational and research projects. During the visit to Y. Gogebashvili Telavi State University, a meeting was held with the university's leadership—the Vice-Rector for International Relations and the Head of the International Affairs Department. projects and the head of a scientific winemaking laboratory. Participants discussed prospects for cooperation in sustainable tourism, cultural heritage preservation, and youth engagement in projects aimed at developing local communities. Project participants also visited several sustainable tourism and cultural heritage sites in the Kakheti region and the suburbs of Tbilisi, learning about environmentally responsible tourism practices and the activities of farms and wineries implementing sustainable development principles. Meetings were held with representatives of tourism associations and non-governmental organizations implementing local community development initiatives. The trip contributed to strengthening international partnerships, sharing experiences, and promoting initiatives being implemented at Comrat State University as part of the ENRICHER Hubs project. Participation in the conference "Shaping the Future of Sustainable Tourism" and events held at the Caucasus and Telavi Universities was an important step in developing international cooperation and integrating educational and innovative initiatives in the fields of sustainable development and entrepreneurship.
