
On November 7, 2025, according to the Research Plan of the Faculty of National Culture, there was held the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific and Educational Space: Realities and Prospects for Improving the Quality of Education”.
Scholars, lecturers, researchers, and practicing teachers from 12 countries and Ireland took part in the conference. The event was held in a mixed format – in person and online – providing ample opportunities for international scientific exchange.
The conference was opened by Oxana CURTEVA, Dean of the Faculty of National Culture, Ph.D., Associate Professor, who accentuated the importance of scientific interaction and innovation in ensuring the quality of the educational environment.
- Rector of Comrat State University, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Sergei ZAHARIA, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of international interaction and the exchange of professional experience between scholars from different countries.
- The conference participants were also welcomed by: Știroi M.N., Deputy Head of the Main Education Department of Gagauzia; Terzi V.K., Head of the Department at Chakir College; and Boykov V.E., Academic Secretary of Marunevich Scientific Research Center.
- The plenary session featured informative presentations by:
- Viorelia LUNGU, Ph.D., University Conference Directorate, Technical University of Moldova, Chishinau, Republic of Moldova;
- Stepan BULGAR, Head of the History and Ethnography Department at Marunevich Scientific Research Center, Ph.D. in History. His theme was entitled EMIGRATION OF BESSARABIAN GAGAUZIANS TO BRAZIL IN 1925-1930. AND THEIR ORIGINAL SETUP IN THE STATE OF SAO PAULO;
- Ecaterina ȚĂRNĂ, Ph.D. Habilitat, University Lecturer at “Ion Creangă” State University, Chișinău. Her theme was entitled PERMA: UN MODEL DE INTERVENȚIE AMELIORATIV- OPTIMIZATOR ÎN MENTORAT ȘI CONSILIERE SOCIOEDUCAȚIONALĂ.
- After the plenary session, according to the conference programme, the conference continued in six sections:

- History, Ethnology and Regional Studies (moderators: Galina MUTAF, PhD, University Lecturer, CSU; Alla PAPTSOVA, PhD, Associate Professor, Moscow Institute of Art and Industry, Moscow, Russia)
- Philology: Problems of Linguistics, Linguodidactics, and Literary Criticism (moderators: Alexei KIRDYAKIN, PhD, University Professor, CSU; Praskovya NIKOLAEVA, Assistant Professor, CSU)
- Education in Culture and Art: Problems and Prospects (moderators: Tatyana SHCHEGOLEVA, Master in Arts, CSU; Irina POYDOLOVA, University Assistant, CSU).
The conference included open lectures by lecturers from Isparta University of Applied Sciences and Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Turkey.
Totally, there were presented 84 papers, 170 publications, and 230 participants at the conference. Following the conference, a Resolution was adopted, emphasizing the need to expand scientific cooperation between universities in different countries, promote innovative teaching methods, digital technologies, and integrate scientific research into the educational process.
The event concluded with an invitation to a festive concert with Peotr Petcovici at Comrat House of Culture, which became a vibrant cultural highlight of the conference.
