Activity of Section 1: “EDUCATION SCIENCES: INNOVATION, MODERN APPROACHES, AND QUALITY”

On November 7, 2025, at Comrat State University, within the framework of the 5th International Scientific-Practical Conference “Scientific and Educational Space: Realities and Prospects for Improving Quality”, organized by the Faculty of National Culture, Section 1 “EDUCATION SCIENCES: INNOVATION, MODERN APPROACHES, AND QUALITY” took place. The section brought together 84 representatives from countries including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, and others, representing academia, researchers, practitioners, teachers from higher, vocational, and general education institutions, and doctoral students, confirming their shared commitment to ensuring and continuously improving the quality of education. The program of the section was opened by moderators Maria Ianioglo, PhD, Associate Professor, and Ioana Axentii, PhD, Associate Professor, from B.P. Hasdeu State University in Cahul. The session was facilitated by Maria Vlah, Master in Education Sciences, University Assistant. Participants emphasized that in modern society, the role and importance of the scientific and creative potential of teachers and learners are increasingly significant. Modern adults, students, and pupils are active subjects of their own education, personal development, and professional growth. The section highlighted priority research directions in higher education, emphasizing the key achievements and results presented by participants. The importance of creating a monitoring mechanism for the implementation of inclusive educational policies in institutions was also underscored. Improving the quality of didactic, scientific, and educational processes is a core direction in higher and vocational education. Section participants focused on major topics, including:  

  • The significance of self-regulated learning in student instruction – Ioana Axentii, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, B.P. Hasdeu State University, Cahul;
  • Didactic communication in Romanian Language and Literature – Victor Axentii, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, B.P. Hasdeu State University, Cahul;
  • Software-assisted speech therapy – a modern approach for children with intellectual disabilities – Elena Crișan, Professor, Psychopedagogue, Constantin Păunescu Special Gymnasium, Tecuci, Romania;
  • Nutrition and mental health – Ecaterina Zubenschi, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, Chișinău;
  • Collaboration of teachers and specialists in inclusive education for transitioning children with special needs to the next educational level – Nina Ormanji, Support Teacher, Ștepan Curoglo Gymnasium, Comrat;
  • Methodology for developing independent learning in younger schoolchildren – Valentina Calpacci, Teacher, S. Baranovski Theoretical Lyceum, Copceac;
  • Developing communicative competence in young learners through folklore – Valentina Iasabaș, Educator, Early Education Institution No. 2, Copceac.

Participants highlighted the importance of organizing such scientific events and publishing research results as essential and promising practices for teachers, doctoral students, and specialists, contributing to continuous professional development and international integration in scientific and educational processes. The section also proposed publishing presented materials, creating a dialogue platform for researchers and educators, continuing academic exchange between educational institutions and international spaces, and supporting workshops, round tables, and other thematic sessions addressing socio-cultural inclusion, education, and educational policies in the context of contemporary diversity and globalization.
