
On April 23, 2026, in the framework of the Student Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “The role of education in the training of competitive specialists. Student Research-2026”, was organized the work of Section 5: MUSIC EDUCATION: SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS.
Moderators:

Students from Comrat State University, the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (Chișinău), the M. Ciachir Pedagogical College (Comrat), and the branch of “Angel Kynchev” University (Ruse, Bulgaria) took part in the section - a total of 37 participants. The section was held in both in-person and online formats. The working languages of the section were Romanian, Russian and Bulgarian.
During the session, 11 reports (out of 23 submitted) were presented on current issues and directions in musical education:

Psychological, pedagogical, and methodological aspects of modern music teaching and education;

The use of folk musical material in the educational process as a means of preserving the history, culture, traditions, and identity of the peoples living in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia;
-
Active integration of an intercultural component into the process of musical education of students in a multiethnic educational environment;
-
Training of modern music educators in the context of professional competency requirements in general and supplementary education;
-
Mastering modern technologies in musical education as a necessary condition for forming a competitive specialist.
Within the section, a competition for the best presentation of a report was held in accordance with the established criteria. The winners of the competition were:

Based on the results of the section, the following proposals were put forward:

To intensify student involvement in research activities, publication work, and participation in conferences and competitions;

To strengthen the connection between theory and practice in musical education through the implementation of innovative teaching methods, master classes, and the use of multimedia technologies, etc.;

To develop readiness for self-development and self-education in order to enhance the competitiveness of specialists in the field of musical education;
-
To use international experience in the development of musical education;
-
To support initiatives aimed at preserving national musical traditions in students’ musical education.
