On April 2, 2024 there was a meeting of the national judo team of Comrat State University (KSU) with the Rector of CSU, Assoc. prof., PhD Serghei ZAHARIA regarding the preparation for the participation of student-athletes at the National Student Judo Championship of the Republic of Moldova. In connection with the plan approved by the Federation of Student Sports and Veterans of the Republic of Moldova, the national team of student-athletes of CSU was preparing to perform at the National Student Judo Championship of the Republic of Moldova. On April 03, 2024, under the guidance of Angela Poleva-Secareanu, Assoc. prof., PhD in Pedagogical Sciences of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of CSU, the students of Comrat State University participated at the National Student Judo Championship-2024, which was held in the sports complex of the State University of Physical Education and Sport of the Republic of Moldova. Seven higher educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova participated. Stefoglo Nicolai Stefoglo, a student of Comrat Children's and Youth Sports School, coached by Curu Petru, took part in the CSU team at the Student Championship in individual competition. Stefoglo Nicolai took the second place (silver) at this competition in the weight category up to 66 kg, he is a student of the Faculty of Law of CSU, first year, group U-23. CSU administration congratulates the student Stefoglo Nikolay with the deserved victory! Wishes that this bright success was only the beginning of the way to new heights in sports and studies: effort, efforts are always rewarded with achievements, and purposefulness and diligence open new horizons!
