
On October 30, 2025, the student team of Comrat State University (CSU) took part in the National Student Universiade in Traditional Wrestling Trânta – 2025, held at the Sports Complex of the State University of Moldova’s Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
The team was led and coached by Angela Polevaia-Secăreanu, International Master of Sports, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at CSU.
The CSU team included students from the Faculty of National Culture, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Agriculture, who demonstrated a high level of preparation, teamwork, and determination to win.
Gold Medal (55 kg):
-Artur Dimov, student of the Faculty of Law (group YPU-25), alumnus of the Comrat Sports School, coaches – Andrei and Anatolii Romanov.
Bronze Medals:
- Grigori Ceavdari, 85 kg, student of the Faculty of Law (group Y-23), alumnus of the Regional Sports Boarding Lyceum of Comrat, coaches – Fiodor Frangev and Ilia Esir;
-Nicolai Stefoglo, 65 kg, student of the Faculty of Law (group Y-23), alumnus of the Comrat Sports School, coach – Petr Kuru;
- Nicolai Chel, 55 kg, student of the Faculty of National Culture (group PM-24), alumnus of the Kazaklia Sports School, coaches – Petr Uzun and Anatolii Sult.
