On October 28, 2025, at Comrat State University, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Comrat State University, represented by Assoc., prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, and the Wrestling Sports Club “ANGELUS,” represented by its President, Angela Polevaia-Secăreanu.
The main goal of the agreement is to promote sports among young people, support inclusive initiatives, and encourage active student participation in the sports and social life of the university and the region.
Within the framework of this partnership, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:
-organizing joint training sessions, tournaments, cups, and masterclasses in various sports;
-involving university students in sports, educational, and volunteer projects;
-exchanging experience and methods among coaches, teachers, and specialists in physical education and training;
-promoting healthy and active lifestyles and fostering a positive and inclusive youth environment.
Rector Serghei Zaharia emphasized that such initiatives expand students’ educational opportunities, contribute to their physical and personal development, and strengthen ties between the university and local community organizations.
In turn, the President of the “ANGELUS” Sports Club, Angela Polevaia-Secăreanu, noted that cooperation with the university opens new prospects for promoting sports and fostering a culture of inclusion, where every young person can realize their potential.
This partnership marks an important step in strengthening collaboration between the academic and sports communities, uniting efforts to develop an active, inclusive, and healthy generation of students.
