On October 22, 2024, the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University hosted a training seminar on the topic "Negotiations and Sales as an Important Component of Business Management and the Formation of Specialists in the Field of Economics." The participants of the seminar were students specializing in "Business and Management," "Banking and Finance," and "Accounting." The speaker of the event was Artiom Polușatov, General Manager of the Institute of Technology and Career Development (ITDC). During the seminar, business trainer Artiom Polușatov thoroughly covered the key aspects of negotiation skills and sales techniques, which are crucial for a successful career in the field of economics and business. He shared strategies for effective negotiations, emphasizing the importance of considering the interests of all parties and striving to reach mutually beneficial solutions. The speaker presented real business cases where competent negotiations played a decisive role in achieving success. This allowed students to see how theoretical knowledge can be applied in practice, enabling them to draw valuable lessons for their professional activities. The seminar not only became a source of new knowledge for the students but also served as a platform for discussions on current topics related to the development of professional skills in business and economics. The participants actively asked questions, exchanged opinions, and received feedback on important aspects of negotiation. Following the seminar, the faculty of the "Economics" and "Accounting and Finance" departments concluded that it was necessary to include the new subject "Comunicare în afaceri" (Business Communication) in the curriculum. This decision was driven by the importance of developing students' skills in effective communication and negotiations, which are an integral part of their successful professional training. The seminar provided students with valuable knowledge and confidence in applying the skills they learned in practice.
