On October 25, 2024 the teachers of the course "Tourist Resources of the Republic of Moldova" (Prof., Dr. habil. Levitskaia Alla, assistant lecturer Donceva Natalia) organized an educational visit to the Main Department of Culture of Gagauzia for the students majoring in "Hotel Services, Tourism, and Leisure". The head of the Main Administration, Marina Semionova, introduced the guests to the peculiarities of the management and organization of festivals, invited the children to participate as volunteers in the work of the "Wine Day" festival.
On this day, the presentation of the catalog of artworks "Graphics and Painting" by Andrey Ivarlak, a well-known Gagauz artist and member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Moldova, took place in the Hall of the Art Gallery ATU Gagauzia. His works, as well as the graphics of Peter Vlach, are used in lectures to reveal the variety of cultural resources of the region, and to illustrate the ornaments used in the tourism brand of the autonomy.
The visual image created by national patterns is a vivid reflection of the cultural heritage of different peoples. Each country has its own unique patterns that are passed down from generation to generation and are recognized as a symbol of national identity. The introduction of a visual identity for the branding of the territory contributes to the growth of its recognition and the attraction of additional tourists. This visit allowed students to feel the connection between generations, the importance of preserving cultural heritage, which is reflected in modern tools for visualizing cultural values with the help of graphic design.
