In accordance with the curriculum for the specialty 0114.1/114.2 “Mathematics and Computer Science,” students of group MI-25 of the Department of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Physics were assigned to an introductory practice from March 16, 2026 to March 29, 2026 at the following educational institutions:

• PUTL named after G. Gaidarzhi, Comrat

• PUTL named after D. Karachoban, Comrat

• Gymnasium, Novoselovka village

• PUTL named after I. Vazov, Taraclia

• Gymnasium, Tomai village

The Department of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Physics expresses its gratitude to the heads of educational institutions and teachers of mathematics and computer science who, year after year, welcome our students, share their professional experience, and assist in studying documentation, analyzing lessons, and organizing extracurricular activities.

The university practice supervisor, Doctor, Associate Professor Velikova T.G., attended extracurricular activities of students undergoing practice in Comrat.

Student trainees of PUTL named after D. Karachoban, Comrat (Cheban Maria and Kristov Kristina), under the guidance of Sîrbu Praskovia Savelievna, conducted an extracurricular activity on March 19, 2026 in class 5 “A” — a mathematical quest “Treasures of Ancient Numbers.” Students worked in teams and solved engaging tasks in logic, ingenuity, and associative thinking. At the end of the event, each team was awarded a diploma. Velikova Tatiana and Sîrbu Prascovia served as jury members.

On March 23, 2026, Vlah Tatiana conducted an extracurricular mathematics activity in class 8 “A” on the topic “Mathematical Battle: Mission – Solve the Impossible.” The event was held in the format of an intellectual game with competitive elements. Students were divided into three teams, each completing tasks in algebra (quadratic equations) and geometry.

Students (Sviridenko Sofia, Avramova Lyudmila, Kyurkchu Tatiana, and Shtelmakhova Elena), who completed their practice at PUTL named after G. Gaidarzhi, conducted an extracurricular mathematics activity “Mathematical Erudite” on March 27, 2026 for students of classes 9 “A” and 9 “B.”

Students were divided into teams, each completing tasks. Each team was assigned a trainee who recorded correct answers in a Google Sheet. Access to tasks was provided via QR codes on students’ tablets. The students prepared a presentation, diplomas, and incentive prizes.

Dimova Lidia Stepanovna, the practice supervisor from PUTL named after G. Gaidarzhi, highly appreciated the students’ responsibility and engagement.

The trainees had the opportunity to observe how responsibly 9th-grade students approach solving tasks and preparing for exams, demonstrating high results in pre-testing in mathematics.
