In Gagauzia, a National Program for studying the Romanian language by national minorities, including adults, is being implemented for the 2023–2025 period. The program, offered by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Education and Research, provides free Romanian language courses. Throughout 2024, Galina Mutcoglo, University Assistant at the Department of Gagauz Philology and History of Comrat State University, taught Romanian language courses at the Police Department of the ATU Gagauzia. Galina Mutcoglo was awarded a Diplomă de Merit as a token of gratitude for her efforts and support in teaching the Romanian language. In recognition of her contributions to the development and strengthening of inter-institutional and professional cooperation, the General Inspectorate of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova presented her with the "For Cooperation" Medal. The staff of the Department of Gagauz Philology and History of Comrat State University wishes Galina Mutcoglo further success in her academic and professional endeavor.
