Tatiana Șciogoleva, head of the Department of Culture and Arts at Comrat State University, as well as the artistic director and conductor of the Gagauz song and dance ensemble "Düz-Ava," was awarded the First Degree Diploma of the Parliament of Moldova. This prestigious award was presented in recognition of her contribution to cultural development, dedication to her profession, and promotion of cultural heritage. The award ceremony took place on March 10, where the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, presented the diploma, acknowledging her professionalism, dedication, and in honor of her 60th birthday. Earlier, on March 1, Tatyana Shchegoleva was honored with another prestigious award—the Gagauz order "Mihail Çakir." This award recognizes her achievements in preserving national cultural heritage and her dedication to Gagauz art. The "Mihail Çakir" Order is an eight-pointed gilded star with a central medallion featuring the portrait of the renowned Gagauz educator and archpriest Mihail Çakir. It is awarded for significant contributions to the development of autonomy, strengthening national unity, and enhancing Gagauzia’s international status. Tatiana Șciogoleva also holds the honorary title of "Maestru în Artă" of the Republic of Moldova and is a distinguished cultural worker of Gagauzia.
