From March 21 to 23, the XXVII International Festival of Romance Performance and Creation "Silver Chrysanthemum" took place in Chișinău, transforming the capital into a center of elegance and musical emotions. For three days, the stage of the Mihai Eminescu National Theater resounded with the most beautiful romances performed by renowned artists and talented young musicians. The event, organized by the Chișinău City Hall, was broadcast live. The aim of the festival is to increase the popularity and revive romance as a musical genre, support performers and creators of romance, and introduce audiences to works by contemporary authors, reports moldpres.md.  Laureates received cash prizes, special awards, and diplomas for participation. The first "Silver Chrysanthemum" festival-competition of romances took place in 1992. For many years, Margarita Ivanush, a lecturer at the Department of Culture and Arts, Artist al Poporului RM, has been a jury member of the festival. Her contribution to the musical art and culture of the republic is immeasurable. Ivanush Margarita not only performs romances with unparalleled feeling and mastery, but she is also actively engaged in popularizing them among the youth. She conducts masterclasses, sharing her experience and knowledge, inspiring a new generation of artists. Her lessons are filled not only with the technical aspects of performance but also with a deep understanding of the emotional essence of music. For her contributions to education and culture, and in connection with the 34th anniversary of Comrat State University, Ivanush Margarita was awarded a Diploma from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova. Her dedication to teaching and nurturing young talent, as well as her active participation in cultural projects, has made her a respected figure not only among students but also among her colleagues.
