The event brought together scholars and researchers from the Turkic world: Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, and others. The symposium addressed a wide range of topics related to the history, language, literature, music, and contemporary culture of Turkic peoples. The CSU delegation included: Rector Dr., Associate Professor Serghei Zaharia, Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, Maestru în Artă RM Tatiana Șciogoleva, assistant lecturers: Irina Poidolova, Domna Mavrodi, Olga Terzi. Over the three days, participants took part in a series of cultural events, presentations, and conference sessions. They presented their research papers and discussed new avenues for academic cooperation with international partners. The program also included a campus tour and cultural trips to the nearby cities of Aksaray and Cappadocia. Opportunities for joint projects within the Erasmus+ program were also discussed. New academic contacts were established with representatives from universities in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the event, a dialogue was initiated regarding possible academic mobility agreements for both faculty and students with several new partner universities.
During the conference, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Comrat State University and Ömer Halisdemir University in Niğde. The agreement provides for:
- Academic exchange of faculty and students,
- Joint research activities,
- Participation in international projects,
- Organization of conferences, seminars, and summer schools.
The agreement marks a significant step in strengthening the international relations of Comrat University within the Turkic academic space.
