On 25 September, the Department of Foreign Languages organised a meeting between students of Comrat State University and students of the University of Regensburg (Germany).

The main aim was to create a space for young people studying foreign languages to communicate freely and informally, and to learn about student life in Germany and the Republic of Moldova.

At the beginning of the meeting, students introduced their universities and spoke about their studies and student life. They then discussed a wide range of topics, including learning foreign languages, education, everyday life, plans for the future and career prospects.

Participants asked one another questions, exchanged views and shared their experiences. English was the main language of communication, giving CSU students an opportunity to use their language knowledge and skills in a real-life setting.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Such events foster intercultural communication, broaden students’ understanding of life and study abroad, and create new opportunities for international cooperation.

For CSU students, the meeting was not only valuable language practice but also a chance to meet peers from Germany, exchange experiences and find common ground.
