On 17 September 2026, Comrat State University hosted a meeting of students and faculty with the representative of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Moldova, Dr Josef Sallanz.

During the meeting, participants received information about study opportunities, research and academic exchanges in Germany. Special attention was given to current DAAD scholarship programmes for students, graduates, early-career researchers and higher education teaching staff.

Dr Josef Sallanz presented the main programme areas, including summer language courses, master's scholarships, research grants and research internships.

Participants also learned about eligibility conditions, German language proficiency requirements, application deadlines and the programme registration procedure.

Such meetings enable students and researchers of Comrat State University to obtain up-to-date information directly from a DAAD representative and to explore academic mobility and professional development opportunities in Germany.

At the close of the meeting, participants were able to ask questions and receive additional clarifications regarding participation in the scholarship programmes.
