As part of the monitoring of teaching practice undertaken by fourth-year students in the Foreign Languages (English and German Languages and Literatures) programme, a visit took place to the Дмитрия Карачобан Public Theoretical Lyceum, where representatives of Comrat State University attended open German lessons prepared and delivered by the student teachers.

The monitoring was attended by the teaching practice supervisor from the Department of Foreign Languages, Тодорич Т.А., and CSU teaching practice inspector Топал Л.Д.

The future teachers demonstrated their ability to plan and organise the learning process, apply a variety of teaching methods and techniques, use visual and interactive materials, and maintain active interaction with pupils.

During the observation, particular attention was paid to the students’ methodological competence, lesson structure, effective use of teaching time, and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to learning.

Attending the open lessons made it possible to assess how the future teachers apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in practice, put their teaching skills into action, and handle the tasks involved in organising the learning process.

Following the observation, the importance of methodological preparation, a creative approach, and professional collaboration with mentor teachers was highlighted.

Such activities help improve the quality of teaching practice, ensure a direct link between the university and schools, and support future specialists in developing their professional competencies.
