On May 28, an introductory event was held in the university’s Scientific Library as part of the cooperation between Comrat State University and the M. Ciachir College. The event was attended by first-year students of the Administrative Services and Records Management program under the guidance of lecturers S. I. Zlatova and N. Tumba.
The future specialists were introduced to the internal working processes of the library. The students studied:
• Accounting documentation: types of records, statistical and analytical reports;
• Regulations: job descriptions, Internal Rules and Regulations, work schedules;
• Regulatory framework: the Regulations on the Functioning of the Scientific Library of Comrat State University and the Library User Rules, developed on the basis of documents published in the Monitorul Oficial and approved by the CSU Senate;
• Technologies: the automated library system and technological instructions.
The program concluded with a guided tour of the lending department and the reading room.
Students observed the practical application of records management theory and gained an understanding of how state regulations are implemented in organizational activities. Future specialists also appreciated the importance of automation through the example of a modern library system.
The event contributed to strengthening cooperation between the educational institutions, and some college graduates expressed their interest in continuing their studies at Comrat State University.
