Comrat State University is hosting Doğukan Bayesen, a doctoral student from Necmettin Erbakan University (Konya, Türkiye), specializing in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. From May 25 to July 25, 2026, he is undertaking an internship at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme.

To support his research on “Gastronomy and Culinary Arts: A Comparative Analysis of Gagauz and Turkish Cuisine,” the University Scientific Library has provided the doctoral student with access to its collections of scientific and educational literature, as well as periodicals.

The internship will enable the doctoral student to enhance his professional and research competencies, become acquainted with the educational and scientific activities of Comrat State University, and actively participate in the University’s academic life.
