On 18 September 2026, the Scientific Library of Comrat State University, in cooperation with Doctor of Pedagogy and Associate Professor O. V. Kurteva, held a practical session for first-year master’s students of group MOM-26 from the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of National Culture.

The session, entitled “Rules for Compiling Bibliographic References and Citing Information Resources in Research Papers”, was organised as part of the course “Methodology of Pedagogical Research in Educational Institutions”.

During the session, A. E. Kösea, Chief Librarian of the CSU Scientific Library, introduced participants to the Library’s information resources and search system, including its alphabetical, systematic and electronic catalogues. The master’s students also received detailed information about the Electronic Library of Academic Staff Publications available on the University’s official website. O. V. Kurteva, in turn, emphasised the importance of strictly following the requirements of the new standard for formatting bibliographic references when preparing research papers.

As a result of the session, the master’s students expanded their knowledge of the CSU Scientific Library databases and gained practical skills in working with information sources and formatting the bibliographic presentation of future research results.
