On January 17, 2024, the staff of the CSU Scientific Library attended a webinar organized by I. Sergeant, a specialist from EBSCO. EBSCO is an online research platform used by thousands of institutions and millions of users worldwide. Thanks to its high-quality databases and search capabilities, EBSCOhost helps researchers of all kinds quickly find the scientific information they need. The webinar addressed the professional competencies librarians must possess in the digital age, the stages of modern library development, and bibliographic databases that assist users in navigating the vast flow of information.

A presentation was given on the structure and functionality of the EBSCO Platform, highlighting the main features of EBSCO's electronic databases.
