Meetings with talented and creative people of Gagauzia are not uncommon for our university, which is the only regional higher education institution in Gagauzia and pays special attention not only to educational and scientific activities but also to the spiritual and moral upbringing of youth and the study of the cultural heritage of our homeland. On March 17, 2025, one of such meetings took place – an introduction to the Gagauz poet, patriot, and head of the executive committee of the "Patriots of Gagauzia" movement, Fedor Сroitor. Fedor Croitor writes poems in the Gagauz language, thus connecting readers with their native tongue. The themes of his poems vary widely: they include lyrical, patriotic, and autobiographical works. Fedor Сroitor read his poems and shared memories of how his mother used to read him the Bible in the Gagauz language translated by M. Chakir, about the formation years of the Gagauz Republic, and more.

The event was attended by students of the Faculty of National Culture, teachers, city librarians, museum representatives, and members of the "Patriots of Gagauzia" movement.
