On May 5, 2025, Comrat State University hosted the official opening of the International Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Week, as well as the art exhibition "Bir Arada", organized by the Faculty of Arts and Design of Eskişehir Osmangazi University. The exhibition will be on display at the university from May 5 to May 30, 2025.
The event began with the exhibition presentation. Welcoming speeches were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Prof. Dr. Şirin Şengel, and the University’s Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Emine Gümüşsoy. In their inspiring speeches, they emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue and artistic exchange as essential components of international cooperation.
The ceremony continued in the university's conference hall. The Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, gave an official welcome speech. He expressed gratitude to Erasmus+ program partners and highlighted the crucial role of academic mobility in the professional development of faculty members and the strengthening of international relations.
The event was honored by the presence of the National Erasmus+ Office Coordinator in Moldova, Ms. Claudia Melinte, and the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Comrat, Mr. Adnan Hayal. In their remarks, they emphasized the outstanding contribution of the Erasmus+ program to the development of academic cooperation, wished the participants a productive experience, and expressed confidence in the continued growth of partnerships between universities in Türkiye and Moldova.
A special part of the first day's program was the thematic session “Future of the Erasmus+ Mobilities and Partnerships in an Increasingly Digital World.” The keynote speech was delivered by Claudia Melinte, who presented current opportunities under Erasmus+ for educators and students and highlighted the importance of projects in the context of the digital transformation of education.
As part of the International Week, Comrat State University is hosting 17 lecturers and staff members from leading Turkish universities, including:

- Çankırı Karatekin University
- Kırşehir Ahi Evran University
- Necmettin Erbakan University
- Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University
- Pamukkale University
The mobility program, taking place from May 5 to 9, includes a rich agenda of academic lectures, seminars, round tables, cultural events, and discussions on future cooperation prospects.
