At Comrat State University, the mobility of professors from Akdeniz University, carried out under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching programme, concluded on 8–22 September 2025.
Throughout the two weeks, the guests actively engaged in university life: they met with professors and students of the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Economics, participated in the educational process, and delivered a series of lectures and seminars for students. Prof. Dr. Nedim Yüzbaşıoğlu delivered a lecture entitled “Introduction to Strategic Management,” and Lecturer Metehan Yaykaşlı presented “Tourism Entrepreneurship and the Canvas Business Model.” These activities contributed to deepening students’ knowledge, broadening their professional horizons, and developing practical skills. Particular attention was paid to the cultural aspect of the visit. The guests learned about the history, traditions, and rich cultural heritage of the region, explored the tourism potential of Gagauzia and the country as a whole, and discussed ideas and proposals for tourism development during informal meetings with the university’s administration and faculty.
On 19 September 2025, the final meeting took place with the participation of CSU Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Ghenova, and staff of the International Relations Office. During the meeting, the results of the mobility were summarized, prospects for further cooperation were outlined, and new areas for joint work were identified. The meeting concluded with a solemn certificate award ceremony, which became an important symbol of fruitful cooperation and successful programme implementation.
Comrat State University sincerely thanks all programme participants for their active involvement, constructive exchange of experience, and valuable ideas that open new horizons for the development of academic mobility and international cooperation. We are confident that this visit will serve as a foundation for new joint projects and initiatives aimed at the development of education, science, and tourism.
