Between 13 and 17 October 2025, the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, paid an official visit to Bursa Technical University, Republic of Türkiye, within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme.
The visit programme included an official meeting with the Rector of Bursa Technical University, Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar, during which the parties discussed prospects for academic cooperation, partnership expansion, and the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives between the two universities. The Rector of CSU also met with representatives of the International Office of Bursa Technical University to discuss academic exchange, student and staff mobility, and the organization of joint activities within Erasmus+ international programmes. During the visit, Dr. Zaharia visited Bursateknopark – the university’s innovation hub that brings together science, education, and business. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss future cooperation in scientific research, start-up projects, and the integration of innovative solutions into the educational process.
As part of the mobility, a meeting was held with Denis Tanasi, a third-year student at Comrat State University, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics, who is currently undertaking a two-month traineeship at Bursa Technical University under the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme. The meeting, held at the university’s International Office, focused on academic exchange, partnership development, and the promotion of joint educational initiatives between the two universities.
