From September 1 to October 31, 2025, Denis Tanasi, a third-year student of the Faculty of Economics at Comrat State University, majoring in Informatics and Mathematics under the Department of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Physics, completed a two-month internship at Bursa Technical University under the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme.
The internship took place at the International Relations Office of Bursa Technical University, where Denis had the opportunity to learn about the organization of international projects, the process of receiving and assisting foreign students, as well as the administrative and digital work of the office. He actively participated in supporting international students, assisting them during their adaptation period, facilitating communication with university departments, and contributing to the preparation of informational materials. During his internship, Denis gained valuable experience in intercultural communication, administrative work, and the use of digital tools in the field of international cooperation. In addition to the internship, Denis attended Turkish language courses at the TÖMER Center, where, in just two months, he reached a level that allowed him to communicate fluently in Turkish and help other international students in daily situations. In his free time, Denis actively explored the city of Bursa, visiting its cultural sites and historical landmarks. This allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of Turkish culture, traditions, and lifestyle, as well as to make new friends from different countries.
As Denis noted, such internships are an invaluable experience for students’ professional and personal development. They help enhance communication and organizational skills, broaden cultural horizons, increase independence and self-confidence, and allow the practical application of theoretical knowledge in an international environment.
