CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE TRAINING COURSE “SUSTAINABLE TOURISM AND SERVICE DESIGN”

At Comrat State University, certificates were awarded to participants of the intensive pilot course “Sustainable Tourism and Service Design,” which was held from April 27 to 30, 2026, within the framework of the Enricher Hub project. The course was developed by trainers of the Tourism Hub of CSU and aimed at developing practical skills in the field of sustainable tourism, tourism service creation, and modern approaches to enhancing the tourism potential of the region.

The event was attended by members of the project team from CSU — ENRICHER project coordinator at CSU, Doctor, Associate Professor Ludmila Fedotova; lecturers of the Department of Economics @kaf.econom_kdu of the Faculty of Economics of CSU — Doctor Habilitat, Professor Alla Levitskaia, Doctor, Associate Professor Svetlana Ghenova, Doctor, Associate Professor Lyubov Arikova; Associate Professor of the Department of Private Law, Doctor Habilitat Natalia Shchukina; representatives of the Gagauzia Tourism and Wine Office, as well as participants of the training course.

During the meeting, the results of the training were summarized, perspectives for the development of the tourism sector were discussed, and the importance of continuing educational initiatives for youth, representatives of the tourism sector, and local communities was emphasized.

Participants highlighted the high practical value of the training, the relevance of the presented topics, and the opportunity to exchange experience. Special interest was shown in issues related to sustainable tourism development, the creation of tourism products and services, as well as project management in the tourism sector. According to the participants, such trainings are highly needed and important for strengthening professional competencies and supporting tourism initiatives in the region.

The organizers emphasized that the course became an important platform for professional dialogue, the generation of new ideas, and strengthening cooperation between the educational environment and the tourism industry.
