Comrat State University Representatives Participated in the ERIK Summer School in Sweden

From 15 to 19 June 2026, representatives of Comrat State University participated in Module 2: Summer School "Integrating Gender into Governance and Leadership", held in a hybrid format (on-site and online) at Linköping University, Sweden. The programme was organized within the framework of the international project ERIK – Equality, Rights and Inclusion Knowledge, implemented under The Swedish Institute Academy for Young Professionals (SAYP).

Comrat State University was represented by Tatiana Rakovcena, PhD, Associate Professor, and Nadejda Ianioglo, PhD, Associate Professor.

During the five-day programme, participants from Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine explored contemporary European approaches to promoting gender equality, inclusive governance, leadership, and the development and implementation of public policies in the field of gender equality. The programme included lectures, practical workshops, discussions, and the exchange of experience among representatives from the Eastern Partnership countries and Europe. Particular attention was paid to the European Union Gender Equality Strategy 2026–2030, gender-based violence, gender mainstreaming, and the integration of equality principles into higher education and public administration.

As part of the Summer School, the representatives of Comrat State University also presented the results achieved during the implementation of the first module of the ERIK project and participated in discussions on the current state of gender equality in the partner countries, including the Republic of Moldova.

The participation of Comrat State University representatives contributed to strengthening international cooperation, promoting the exchange of European best practices in gender equality and inclusive governance, and enhancing the professional competencies required for the further implementation of the ERIK project in the Republic of Moldova.

The ERIK – Equality, Rights and Inclusion Knowledge project is implemented under The Swedish Institute Academy for Young Professionals (SAYP) and is funded by the Swedish Institute (Sweden).
