On February 11, 2025, as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Science. Education. Culture," dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Comrat State University, Section 5. Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences 5.3. Didactics of the Discipline actively worked. The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of National Culture organized this Section. Six reports were submitted for in-person presentations. The work of the Section was organized in a mixed format—offline and online using the Zoom platform.
Moderators of the Section:
Oxana Curteva , Assoc. Prof., PhD.
Liudmila Ibrișim, Assist. Lect.
The annual conference within Section 5. Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences 5.3. Didactics of the Discipline aims to unite the international scientific community as well as practitioners from educational institutions to discuss current achievements in the field of specific methodologies, pressing problems of education, and upbringing.
The participants of the section discussed a wide range of relevant scientific problems related to methodological aspects in education:
- Fundamental problems of specific didactics;
- The problem of developing spelling skills in elementary school students;
- Features of conducting preparatory work on spelling in literacy lessons;
- The use of various game forms in the process of teaching preschoolers literacy;
- Aspects of cybersecurity in the modern education system;
- The role of teachers and parents in cybersecurity issues;
- Features of applying effective teaching methods in the information-educational environment in higher education.
The section actively presented the experience of practicing teachers from early education institutions, gymnasiums, lyceums, and higher education. The high professional scientific level of the presented reports was noted. The speakers shared their scientific experiences and practical developments aimed at optimizing the learning process. The topic of cybersecurity, presented by Sergey Horozov, Assoc. Prof., PhD, aroused particular interest among the section participants. He noted that the changes in the modern world stimulate the education system to expand educational tasks related to teaching behavior in the online space. This training is needed not only by students but also by teachers and parents. The issues of teaching children literacy raised in the presentations by Irina Bianova and Maria Mavrodi remain relevant.
Lilia Diordiyașenko, a teacher at the Chișinău Lyceum, revealed in her presentation the features of developmental and educational work with fairy tales in elementary school. The section also included the participation of school psychologist M.S. Petkova, who shared her experience and methodology for working with children with ADHD. This issue concerns many contemporary teachers who have students with this diagnosis in their classes.
Oxana Curteva, Assoc. Prof., PhD, presented innovative teaching methods for university audiences in her presentation. The emphasis was on models of blended learning technology and her own experience in the practical implementation of the "Station Rotation" model. At the conclusion of the section's work, the relevance of the presented research for discussion aimed at solving strategically important problems in science and practice was noted. It was emphasized that the results presented for discussion are based on theoretical research revealing modern problems, trends, and prospects for education development, as well as local and international methodological experience. The section participants proposed to continue the practice of expanding professional contacts and establishing scientific ties on current methodological and practical issues, to preserve the tradition of holding this section within the conference "Science. Education. Culture," which consolidates the scientific and educational community.
We thank all participants of Section 5.3. Didactics of the Discipline for constructive dialogue, active engagement in discussing relevant didactic issues, and a sincere desire to share professional experience and expertise!
