On February 12, 2026, as part of the anniversary events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Comrat State University, the session of the 5.2 “Psychological Sciences” section took place. The session was held under the motto of integrating theory and practice in addressing current problems of contemporary society.

During the session, reports covering a wide range of psychological issues were presented—from educational psychology to issues related to identity formation and mental well-being. Special attention was given to the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying in the educational environment. One of the central topics of the section was the discussion of destructive phenomena in the adolescent and youth environment. A report by psychologists Valerii Ganuzin and Galina Maskova (Yaroslavl State Medical University) analyzing anti-bullying programs attracted special attention. Experts emphasized that preventing bullying is one of the most important tasks in modern education. The causes and consequences of bullying for its participants were also discussed.

A separate block was dedicated to research on professional stress. Adina Plotică, Doctor of Psychology and practicing psychologist from Romania, analyzed the stress responses of medical personnel. Elena Kovaleva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, presented coping strategies for overcoming emotional problems in the professional activity of teachers.

Social representations of youth about their generation were presented in the report by Irina Kaunenko, Doctor of Psychology (ULIM, Chișinău). The report was focused on how modern youth constructs their image of the future.

A study on professional self-determination was presented by Ludmila Kër, Doctor of Psychology. The author discussed age-related features in career guidance, noting that views on future careers are becoming more pragmatic and flexible.

The participants of the section noted the high level of theoretical justification of the presented works and their practical orientation. The materials of the conference will form the basis for the development of new methodological recommendations for teachers and practicing psychologists in the autonomy and republic.
