Section 6.3. Romanian Philology and Applied Literature
International Scientific and Practical Conference “Science. Education. Culture”
Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Comrat State University

Within the framework of the scientific events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the founding of Comrat State University, Section 6.3 “Romanian Philology and Applied Literature” brought together researchers, university lecturers, doctoral students, and practicing teachers from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Israel, and the Czech Republic.

The section was moderated by:
– Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oxana Mititelu, Comrat State University
– Assoc. Prof. Dr. Carmen Dimitriu, Romanian Language Institute Bucharest / Tel Aviv University

The presented papers highlighted current research directions and practical applications in the field of Romanian philology, language and literature didactics, error analysis, formative strategies, and the promotion of Romanian literary heritage.

Among the topics addressed were:
– the human dimension in the works of Vladimir Beșleagă;
– the formative act and suspense literature;
– the role of extracurricular activities in student development;
– motivational technologies in teaching literary language;
– implementation of multimodal texts in lower secondary education;
– error analysis in teaching Romanian as a foreign language;
– formative strategies in the existential approach to classical literature;
– the relevance of Eminescu’s thought in contemporary cultural discourse.

The presentations demonstrated a solid articulation between theory and practice, strengthening the applied dimension of Romanian philology and reaffirming the role of linguistic education in developing cultural and communicative competences.

The hybrid participation format — offline and online — facilitated a dynamic academic dialogue oriented toward international cooperation and the exchange of best practices.

Section 6.3 “Romanian Philology and Applied Literature” confirmed the potential of Comrat State University to function as a regional center of excellence in Romanian philology and applied research.

The event strengthened academic partnerships and opened new perspectives for joint projects, publications, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
