Results of Section 2. Research in Modern Gagauz and Turkic Philology at the Student Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “The Role of Education in the Training of Competitive Specialists. Student Research-2025”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Liudmila Pocrovscaia

 

On April 8, 2025, the Faculty of National Culture hosted the Student Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “The Role of Education in the Training of Competitive Specialists. Student Research-2025”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Liudmila Pocrovscaia. Section 2 was organized and conducted by the Department of Gagauz Philology and History. The moderators of the section were Assoc. Prof., PhD, Ivanna Bancova, Dr. Burcu Yılmaz Çebin, and student of group MPG-23, Maria Kîlçık. According to the program, 11 speakers presented their reports: 5 presentations were delivered by master’s students from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Republic of Türkiye; 2 presentations from master’s students of Afyon Kocatepe University, Republic of Türkiye; 2 presentations from master's students of group MPG-23 from Comrat State University (CSU); 1 presentation by first-cycle students of group GT-22, CSU; and 1 presentation from students of the Free University of Riga, Latvia. The student reports focused on current issues in linguistics and literary studies. The presentations were characterized by relevant content, clear logic, and the ability to answer questions with reasoned arguments. The reports were accompanied by presentations. As part of the conference, a competition was held for the best student scientific research and the presentation of their results. The jury of Section 2 selected the following students as winners: Maria Kîlçık, group MPG-23 (scientific supervisor – Assoc. Prof., PhD, Ivanna Bancova), and Zeynep Yıldırım, Soner Akpınar, supervised by Professor Dr. Öğretim Üyesi from Eskisehir Osmangazi University.
