The European Commission continues to support the development of sports and a healthy lifestyle for students at Comrat State University (CSU). As part of international initiatives such as Erasmus+ (see news from the Erasmus + UNI HEALTH project https://kdu.md/en/science-and-international-relations/projects/project-uni-health/news-of-the-project-uni-health/item/6299-sports-equipment-for-students-with-special-needs-erasmus-uni-health-project-s-contribution-to-creating-an-inclusive-environment-at-comrat-state-university), CSU is actively working on creating an inclusive and accessible sports environment for all categories of students. One of the priorities is to ensure that students with special needs have the opportunity to actively engage in physical education and sports. It is important that every CSU student, regardless of their health status, has access to specialized sports classes and equipment, which significantly improves their quality of life and contributes to better physical and mental well-being. CSU’s sports programs are aimed at promoting youth health through comprehensive activities, including breathing exercises, Eastern martial arts, and wellness programs focused on physical activity. These programs not only help improve students' physical fitness, but also strengthen their spirit and mindset toward a healthy lifestyle. The efforts of the Administration and faculty at CSU to strengthen the sporting culture at the university continue to develop, and each year, more students have the opportunity to actively participate in the university's sports life in the renovated gym and auxiliary spaces of the CSU sports complex "Univer," using new sports equipment and gear.
