Within the program "Strengthening the skills of legal research, writing and argumentation in the Republic of Moldova", a seminar entitled "Legal research: methods and tools" was held at Comrat State University (CSU) on March 14, 2024, with the presence of guests represented by the Director of the National Center of State Courts of Williamsburg (Chisinau) Olimpia Gribincea and financial manager Iulia Rtischeva, Vice-Rector of Research and International Relations of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof., PhD Svetlana Ghenova, University lecturer, PhD, Igor Botezatu,  Assoc. Prof., PhD Olga Tatar, main bibliographer of the CSU scientific library Natalia Garciu; Head of the CSU scientific library Janna Garceva, professors and students of CSU. During the event, the students were familiarized with the rules of bibliographic references and citation of legal information resources in accordance with SM ISO 690:2010, also the Main Bibliographer of the Scientific Library of Comrat State University, Natalia Garchu, gave a presentation, during which a dialog with the students was held. The second half of the event was held in the scientific library of Comrat State University, where the head of the library of Comrat State University, Gianna Garceva, presented to the students the collection of databases available in the library, as well as the electronic catalog and web pages, which can be easily used by the students of CSU. The seminar resulted in discussions between the students and the library representatives and guests of the event. Such seminars allow students to broaden their horizons regarding electronic resources that they can use in their professional activities.
