On December 17, 2025, Comrat State University hosted a festive meeting of the English Club, dedicated to the end of the academic semester and the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and featured interactive games, informal communication in English, festive treats, and the ceremonial presentation of certificates to active club participants from the Department of Foreign Languages. This meeting marked the final English Club session of 2025 and the last one this year with the participation of Maya Watson, a Fulbright Foundation lecturer. Maya Watson regularly organizes weekly English Discussion Club meetings at Comrat State University, creating a space for the development of language skills, intercultural dialogue, and academic communication. As part of this event, she also took an active role in its preparation and organization, making a significant contribution to the success of the celebration. The event brought together students from the Department of Foreign Languages (English–Russian and English–German programs), as well as students from the IT Department and the Faculty of Economics. The participation of international students from Azerbaijan and Türkiye added a special atmosphere to the celebration, highlighting the international and open character of the university community.
