Janna Garceva, Head of the Scientific Library, participated in a professional training “Public Library Assessment: New Regulatory Changes”, held on November 24, 2025, for libraries of all types in Gagauzia, Taraclia, and Bessarabca. Organizers: National Center for Continuous Professional Education (BNRM) and P. Draganov Central Library of Gagauzia. Trainers: Tatiana Coseri and Ludmila Corghenci According to the regulations, all libraries in the Republic of Moldova undergo an evaluation of their activities every five years. Library activity assessment is important as it ensures the quality of services provided and their adaptation to user needs. It provides an objective basis for decisions regarding collection development, budget allocation, and institution modernization, while also increasing transparency and assigning responsibility to the founders.
