Today, a meeting was held with Mr. Ferhat Yılmaz, Education and Culture Officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the Republic of Moldova.

The meeting addressed the important issue of supporting Comrat State University with highly qualified teaching staff from Türkiye.

As part of bilateral cooperation, two academics from Türkiye — doctors of science and university professors — will join Comrat State University in the new academic year. They will teach in the fields of Turkish Language and Literature and English Language and Literature.

For our university, this is not merely staff support; it is an important component of developing international academic cooperation, improving the quality of education, and expanding opportunities for students.

It is particularly important that the remuneration of the invited academics will be provided by the Turkish side. This represents a significant contribution by the Republic of Türkiye to the development of Comrat State University and to the educational potential of our region.

I thank the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and Mr. Ferhat Yılmaz personally for their ongoing support, attention to the university, and willingness to develop our mutually beneficial cooperation. I am confident that the academic exchange of teaching staff will continue to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Moldova and Türkiye.
