On 22 October 2026, students at the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University met with representatives of Microinvest. The event was held as part of the international financial literacy campaign «Borrow Wisely!».

The meeting brought together first-cycle (Bachelor’s) students specialising in «Business and Administration», «Marketing and Logistics», «Accounting» and «Finance and Banking», as well as second-cycle (Master’s) students on the «Business Administration», «Accounting and Auditing in Industries» and «Corporate Finance» programmes.

The event took place in a warm, businesslike atmosphere, bringing together students, teaching staff and financial sector representatives. Acting Dean С. С. Кураксина, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Associate Professor, delivered a welcome address. She emphasised the importance of improving young people’s financial literacy.

The guests gave an interactive presentation for the students. The discussion first focused on financial literacy and responsible borrowing. Students received practical advice on managing their personal budgets and learned what to consider before taking out a loan. The topic proved particularly relevant to future finance and accounting professionals.

The company’s representatives then outlined career opportunities at Microinvest for students and young professionals. Particular attention was paid to practical placements at the company’s regional branches, where students can gain real experience and see how the financial sector works from the inside. For students in «Finance and Banking» and «Corporate Finance», this offers a direct opportunity to put their knowledge into practice, while future specialists in management, marketing and accounting were able to learn how a modern financial institution operates.

Students actively asked questions, shared their views and took an enthusiastic part in the discussion.
