On 8 April 2024, G.N. Mutaf, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Chair of Gagauz philology and history with the students of gr. NDP-23 at the invitation of V.N. Kuznetsova, teacher of Russian language and literature, librarian of the gymnasium from Budjac village, held a lesson within the events dedicated to the Day of Gagauz script. Budjak held a lesson within the events dedicated to the Day of Gagauz writing.

During the lesson, the pupils were told about the history of the Gagauz writing, about the scientists who made a great contribution to the formation and development of the modern Gagauz language, as well as about the creative path of the famous professor, Turkologist Pokrovskaia L.A. as the author of the first grammar of the Gagauz language, researcher of dialectology, syntax, folklore of the Gagauz.

The pupils were shown a video about the activity of the famous scientist, about the contribution of Pokrovskaia L.A. to the development of the Gagauz philology chair at the Comrat State University.

At the end of the lesson, pupils asked questions.
